Just two first block, and one second block...

First block I'm taking continued Nutrition, and Introduction to Nursing.

Introduction to Nursing is Monday and Wednesday from 9am-10:40am

Nutrition is Tuesday and Thursday...

From 7:45AM-10:15AM.

For those of you who know me.. You know I'm not a morning person.. And also for those of you who know me, you know that I take the bus to school.. That means in order to get to my funny 7:45AM class on time I need to be at the bus stop at five to seven..

BACKGROUND TO THIS VIDEO:
Taffy bought this crazy board thing that makes her hang upside down to relieve back pressure. The bored has a saftey on it that make sure she doesn't flip all the way just to about a 45 degree angle. Well The first day Shane was in th hospital I was talking to Taff while she was on this bored and the kids came and let out the saftey so she was hanging completely upside down. Like Feet over head upside down. The Kids got a good laugh at it and didn't help her rightside up for a minute or two. Well when I was over with the kids, Shalynn came home and was talking to her while playing on the board. I was in the kitchen giving KP and T DIZZ some ice cream when she started laughing and yelling for help. When I walked into the family room this is what i found.....

And Tanden's Friends like to Saran Wrap him and leave him on random neighbors porches. Its pretty good.

Update Without Pictures

As many of you may or may not have heard, my oldest brother Shane suffered a brain aneurysm Tuesday (March 16) morning. He woke up with a severe headache and began vomitting. Taffy asked him if he wanted to go to the emergency room and he said "yes, I cannot see out of my left eye." He was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where they discovered he had an acute bleed in his brain. He went into surgery to drain the blood and to insert a drain to drain the spinal fluid at about noon that day. He was in surgery for about two and a half hours, the surgery went well. They admitted him to the intensive care unit where he had a very rough first night. Grandpa Dan, and Uncle Thayne gave him a blessing to help subside the pain so he could get some sleep. Shane Slept for a few hours and then at 4 am they performed a CT scan and discovered another buldging vein, a possible bleed. The surgeon decided that he will do another surgery on friday. They did a MRI this morning (March 17) to make sure the buldge was not currently Bleeding. At this time we are waiting for the results of the MRI.

Shane appreciates everyone's prayers on his behalf and sends his love to all.

Let's get one thing straight..

I LOVE DANCE.

I've always loved to dance. It was who I was. My passion was always dance, it drove me every single day. But, it was ripped away from me. Over the past weekend people kept making little side comments to me about how I "quit" dance. Do people think I wanted to stop? That dance was just something that I wanted to move on from? Leaving ballet was extremely hard for me, but I had no choice. I feared surgery so much because I knew it was going to change my life in so many ways, but most importantly in dancing. I tried so hard after surgery to keep dancing. I performed in a few shows, and continued with classes for as long as I could. But it hurt so much, and I couldn't do almost anything that I used to be able to do with such ease.

I moved on to ballroom. Something I was never good at. I filled parts of the void but I knew i was not good enough to go on after High School so dancing on a College team was never even a thought to me. But I miss it. Mostly I miss the movement. I miss having that escape in my life. I wish for it back. I'll always love watching dance, but to be entirely honest, with myself and others who continually ask, yes watching it does hurt. It hurts that I can't be out there myself.

I am continually grateful for My life, and though I don't say it I am grateful for my surgery because without it, I don't know if I would have a life. But every part of me Loves dance and wishes that I could still do it.

This summer money has been tight for everyone, especially our little circle of friends. Due to the lack of free spending cash, we are constantly looking for fun FREE (or at least very cheap) things to do. About two weeks ago we decided to go on a short day trip up to Wallsburg (just before Heber). Annie and Madi had both been there multiple times with various friends but I had never seen it. So we made the short trip up there and went to their favorite park.

There is a HUGE very scary ride that we all reluctantly went down..

As many of you may know, I have the coolest phone ever!! It's the Verizon Dare, which is a full touch screen, its basically the Verizon knock off of the iPhone. While my phone has many cool features the best part a paint application where you can draw. All of my friends are constantly taking my phone to draw on it. Recently I started telling people that my phone also has a mini photoshop where you can draw on the pictures. People always take my phone so i never thought anything of it then today this is out what i found.....

Ballroom Comes to an End

It seems to be tradition in our family that once you start highschool you start ballroom team. Most of the years on team were wonderful. Full of friends and competitions and of course california tours. But now, its all come to an end. My team has given me many great memories and every better friends! The end of year banquet was a great reminder of that.

It all began with a bus ride.... a six hour long bus ride...

This was before THE INCIDENT

The M&M factory where the historical elevator ride was taken..The Elevator that fit 30 people, and after we fit 37 people in we slowly sunk and were stuck in for close to an hour. The Man who finally got us out said that he had been working there for forty years and had never once seen anything remotely close to what we had done. Good Job Team!!!Then continued with another six hour ride to California where we discovered that the two coolest girls on team have the same camera.. Nanette and I!!Brytt and I!! Brytt, Jens, Lara and I were roommates and for sure had the best room. Brytt and I had nightly Rave/Glow light parties.

Screamin.. Oh the memories.. lets take a moment to chat here. I was terrified to go on screamin. So when my group wanted to go, I politely waited in line until we started up the steps for the actual ride. Then I very quietly snuck down the steps to wait for my group at the exit. Sneaky aren't I? Well, big brother Cameron didn't find this as amusing as I did. So a few rides later they decided to go on Screamin again. As we began to walk over, Cameron began looking at the Lanyards all the girls--including me--were wearing. Well he got that stupid smile that all Peterson boys have on his face and before I knew what was happening, I was tied to big brother being forced to go on Screamin. RUDE. Oh and Melios was scared to go too but went.

Multi Talented ballroom team

Ballroom Team's annual California tour happened from april 13th-19th. This tour was jam packed and one of the funnest I have been on. The new Coaches (Lady Brittney and King Craig of wakefieldawesomealot) went out of their way to make sure there was never a dull moment througout the week. On the six hour drive to our first stop in Las Vegas, they introduced the game of Survivor. They explained that we would have multiple challenges throughout the tour to see who could survive the long hours on the bus. Among the challenges there was Medieval Trivia (to go along with our performance at Medieval times), Disney Trivia (to go along with our two days spent in the happiest place on earth) and then of course Carry On Scavenger hunt. The final challenge of survivor was to write a song summarizing the week. Almost every song was really good and hilarious!!

The Sweethearts dance at my school is always held the week before valentines day. This year's dance was so fun! I had the BEST group EVER! The other night, Nicole, Cassidy, and I all ended up hanging out (no one knows why). Cassidy called each of us up and wanted to do something. So they both came and met up with me at work and we tried to figure out something to do. Cassidy, aka Mr. Picky Pants wouldn't decide on anything so Nicole and I opted to just go watch a movie. However that was far too "boring" for him. While we were still trying to find something to do, Nicole brought up how bad I was at bowling. (She ALWAYS feels the need to tell the story of when I bowled a gutter ball with Bumpers up) Midway through the story Cassidy piped in and told us how much he loved bowling. He talked himself up as if he were the best bowler in the world, to which Nicole immediately disgreed with. They then went on bickering about who was a better bowler and decided the only way to tell was go bowling! It was then decided that we would go bowling, even though I stink!!

Cass Ended up winning the first round and was very eager to brag. But because it was a friday night, we had the alley for a full hour and that gave us enough time to play a second round....

Cassidy was pretty upset by this. It looked like Nicole was going to take it all up until the last two bowls. Nicole gutter balled it, and Cassidy bowled a strike. Nicole was veryyyy veryyyy angry. As for me however...

I just STUNK! but it was fun!! :)

Christmas Eve Party

One tradition that we have at our house is that every Christmas Eve we throw a Christmas Eve open house and invite all of my dad's brothers and sisters and their families to come over for dinner and just to hang out with eachother as a family.

This year for Christmas we wanted to make sure Mom got something special. For nearly five years we have had a large peice of granite to make her an island for her kitchen. My dad got the countertops done while he was still alive, and we've been trying to get the island done ever since. This year Cameron decided that it needed to be done, and so he found some people to who would build a base strong enough to put the top on. Originally my mom offered to help pay for about three hundred dollars of it, but Cameron did not like that one bit. He ended up taking the money for a while, and then told my mom that the place we were having it built at went out of business and she was not going to get her table this year. Secretly the table was already done and ready to be stained. On Christmas Eve we Shane, Brett, Cameron, Me, and Chubbs were all able to present the finished product to a completely surprised Mom.

Family Christmas Party

Christmas is nearing and to the Peterson family that means its time for our annual Nativity party. Every year since I can remember, and probably way before, all of my Peterson aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents gathered together to have a big christmas party and then at the end do a nativity with all of the grandchildren. Usually at this party each family prepares a small act of some sort whether it be singing, dancing, or story telling and to perform for everyone else. Then at the end all of the grandchildren put on the nativity while everyone else sings the nativity song. Due to my family's growing size however, it is now limited to the grandchildren age eleven and younger and the majority of them are great grandchildren.

This years program included singing by Jenae, Hannah, Sabra and Trevor, Trevor and Karyn, Joshua and Britt, and Katie and Hallie

Greg and Valynn put together "Top Ten Reasons Peterson Christmas Parties are Great". I only got a few of them because dumb Kyle text me while I was recording but they were all pretty darn good!

Then of course we had the traditional Nativity with my BEAUTIFUL BRINLEY as the Big Star (she refused to be a sheep). We also sang the Nativity song three times due to three different little girls demanding to be Mary (Kaye, Hannah, and Baby Sabra) Aunt Jenae sang the first verse of Silent Night and then everyone else in the family was to join in on the second and third. But in loving memory of dad....no one knew the rest of the verses!!!

Christmas Break began with a lot of snow this year. Friday brought a heavy storm leaving my friend Nicole and I trapped inside for most of the day to avoid driving in the snow on slick roads. When the storm finally calmed Nicole's Grandparents sent us out to get some dinner for ourselves. We ventured to Fudruckers and ate our meals. But before heading back to Nicole's we decided to do a little "sight seeing" the way any highschool seniors would....
